PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Cross Country successfully defended its Bradley Intercollegiate team titles on Friday night, placing first as a team in the men's 8K and women's three-mile races for the third straight year.
The men's race saw senior 
Caleb Lind win his first collegiate cross country title with a time of 24:06.3. Lind finished just over six seconds ahead of second place and 13 seconds ahead of third place. 
Travis Gaffney brought home third at 24:19.7, over 20 seconds quicker than the fourth-place finisher. In total, four Braves finished in the top 10 (
Brandon Kamp - sixth, 24:48.1; 
Jacob Trangmar - eighth, 25:01.0) and seven Braves finished in the top 18. Bradley scored 31 points, 25 points ahead of second-place Saint Louis.
The women's race was dominated by Bradley runners, as Braves made up the entirety of the top seven, nine of the top 10 and 10 of the top 12. 
Kaitlyn Sheppard won her second race in as many meets in 2025, taking first with a time of 16:11.9, 11 seconds ahead of second-place 
Abigail Hancock (16:22.4). 
Skyler Balzer (third, 16:39.0), 
Nadia Potgieter (fourth, 16:40.3), 
Noelle Steines (fifth, 16:43.3), 
Rhune Vanroose (sixth, 16:48.8) and 
Carissa Hamilton (seventh, 17:01.8) made up the rest of the top seven. Bradley finished with a perfect score of 15, 51 points ahead of second-place Saint Louis.
