Kaboom! Awards: Men's Joe Stowell Award

Presented by RE/MAX Traders Unlimited and supported by PNC, the 2021 Kaboom! Awards continue with the presentation of the finalists and the announcement of the winner for the male version of the Coach Joe Stowell Award.

Introduced in 2007, the Coach Joe Stowell Award is presented annually to recognize the male and female student-athletes who best exemplify Stowell's love for Bradley Athletics, as well as dedication to their teams and teammates. Stowell has been directly associated with Bradley Athletics since World War II, first as a student-athlete from 1946-50, then as a men's basketball assistant coach from 1956-65, the second-winningest men's basketball head coach in program history from 1965-78, an assistant athletic director from 1978-85, the women's basketball head coach from 1981-83 and the men's basketball radio analyst from 1985-2010. In his various roles associated with the men's basketball program, Stowell was witness to 1,545 men's basketball games and he has attended countless other Bradley Athletics events as an avid fan of his beloved Braves.

The finalists for the 2021 Coach Joe Stowell Award are Baseball's Dan Bolt and Soccer's Jack Dunn. Dave Snell reviews the nominations for both Bolt and Dunn in the associated video, which concludes with the announcement of the winner.

The 2021 Kaboom! Awards, presented by RE/MAX Traders Unlimited and supported by PNC, resume Tuesday with the announcement of the Carl Grose Service Award.
