Kaboom! Awards: Carl Grose Service Award

The finalists are introduced and the winner announced for the 2021 Carl Grose Service Award

Presented by RE/MAX Traders Unlimited and supported by PNC, the 2021 Kaboom! Awards continue with the presentation of the finalists and the announcement of the winner for the Carl Grose Service Award.

The Carl Grose Service Award was established in honor of Carl Grose, Bradley's long-time equipment manager and "Jack-of-all-Trades". Mr. Grose, a Peoria resident, worked for the Athletic Department for approximately 50 years. No job was ever too small for Carl. He did everything from laundry and handling out equipment to cutting the grass. He loved BU Athletics and working with BU student-athletes. This award was established to annually recognize a student-athlete who is committed to volunteerism on campus and in the local community.

The finalists for the 2021 Carl Grose Service Award are Soccer's Mikey Conneh, Women's Cross Country/Track's Emma Ehrhardt and Women's Golf's Sarah Nacos. Dave Snell reviews the nominations for all three finalists in the associated video, which concludes with the announcement of the winner.

The 2021 Kaboom! Awards, presented by RE/MAX Traders Unlimited and supported by PNC, resume Tuesday afternoon with the announcement of the annual Bradley Athletics Special Recognition Award.
